SF YACHTS AT DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2023

Taking place on 1-5 March at the prestigious Dubai Harbour, the five-day event brings together more than 150 boats worth an estimated 1.5 billion AED and 30,000 international visitors. The Middle East is now home to 12.6% of the world’s superyacht fleet, while the MENA region hosts the second highest fleet to billionaire ratio.

SF Yachts is a GCC-based company and long-term distributor of high profile yachting brands, including Riviera Yachts Australia, Prestige, Beneteau and Fiart Mare. It also specialises in the new build construction and management of yachts and superyachts and is renowned for its client-focused approach. It’s an area of expertise that will be highlighted in Dubai this year with the exhibition of a Riviera 77 – an enclosed flybridge sportsfisher built by Australia’s most awarded luxury yacht builder – for which SF Yachts managed the custom redesign.

“The Riviera 77 taps into the growing demand for sportsfishers with long range, high speeds and elegant superyacht design,” says SF Yachts’ CEO, Francesco Pitea. “There will be a large variety of motor yachts on display at the show this year, but our expertise in the field of sport fishing, cruising motor yachts and pleasure crafts is unrivalled.”

SF Yachts has witnessed a 20% increase in profitability and market share year-on-year since it was established in 2012. This includes its highly successful superyacht consultancy division, as exemplified by its flagship yacht – SF55 Al Waab – which delivered in January 2023 following a rapid 24-month build at shipyard Alia Yachts, as well as the SF60 currently under construction, and the launch of the revolutionary SF45, a concept design that is fully engineered in cooperation with MICAD.

Motor yachts, in particular catamarans, are surging in popularity,” he says. “With two lightweight, expertly engineered models from French boatbuilder Prestige Yachts – an M48 and M8 – already sold to GCC owners, we strongly believe that Prestige’s multihull boats will take a significant market share.

“The Dubai International Boat Show is a regional show that allows us to connect with the yachting supply chain in the MENA region and to exhibit all our new ventures,” he adds. “We look forward to connecting with more people from this region who are attracted to the superyacht life.”
